Blogging through the Coronavirus quarantine. I know, some of you were hoping I would stop this project. Ha, Ha, I am back!

This title line came from one of my favorite sophomoric movies, Nacho Libre. Jack Black is cast as a Franciscan novice and chef, at an orphanage in Mexico. His secret passion, however, is Lucha Libre, the term used in Mexico for professional wrestling. One of the orphans peeks into Senor Black’s room just as he is donning his homemade superhero-like, form- fitting costume. The young charge nods with understanding. Sometimes a man needs to wear stretchy pants.

So, I think we are in a stretchy pants phase of life. Time to expand our ways of doing things in our confined living rooms! Put the music on; reggae, zumba, soul. Start swaying, rolling and swinging hips. Move into some boot camp moves with calisthenics. Give yourself a Lucha Libre name (maybe like Macha Hornet- but that is my name! )and have throw yourself into an imaginary wrestling match.

Recently, my husband and I have started dancing and doing boot camp exercise sessions in the living room. Looking at each others eyes and doing our crazy moves. It was a bit awkward at first, but day four and we are getting into a groove. Smish, Smash, Splish, Splash, do the pony, maybe some push-ups, spin, circle up.

And if that doesn’t work, well, I hope you give the movie, Nacho Libre , a try. It is a noble version of “If at first you don’t succeed…..try, try again.

Love to you, and you, and you!
